Description

As a Neuropsychologist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disorders associated with neurological conditions. You will work alongside neurologists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and support for our patients. • Conduct detailed neuropsychological assessments to evaluate cognitive and emotional functioning.
• Interpret results and provide feedback to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide therapy and interventions for cognitive and emotional disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations and treatment progress in electronic medical records.
• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
• Participate in research initiatives to advance neuropsychological practices.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on neuropsychological issues and treatment options.
  
  

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in North Carolina.
• Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology.
• Strong clinical expertise in neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
