Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team!

This position is responsible for all functions of the accounts payable cycle including matching purchase receipts to vendor invoices, posting vendor invoices and credit memos, reconciling vendor statements to posted transactions, communicating and resolving purchasing discrepancies company-wide.

This position is eligible for remote work in CA, ID, OR, and WA. Manager must approve remote work. To qualify for remote work status employee must have an adequate, quiet, and safe home office setup including a comfortable desk and chair, high-speed internet access, ability to safeguard and protect sensitive data.

Hourly pay ranges from $22-27/hour depending on applicable skills and experience.

In This Role, You Will Be Involved In

• Set up and maintenance of vendor master information including contacts, banking info, terms, payment methods and credit applications.
• Invoice processing, analyzing receiving issues, and communicating invoice related issues to vendors.
• Verifying, researching, and processing company credit card purchase transactions and reconciling to monthly statements.
• Manage AP automation software including Stampli, Sage Intacct, Ramp, Service Trade/Parts Ledger.
• Verifying and posting employee expense reports and per diem requests; providing supervision of employee expense systems.
• Maintains fleet vehicle schedules, orders new and replacement gas cards, vehicle insurance ID cards, toll transponders, and leases for new fleet vehicles.
• Assists as needed with month end close including closing Accounts Payable modules and balancing to bank transactions.
• Supporting, training, and collaborating with employees across the organization on various AP topics and processes.
• Assisting other functions within the accounting department, as needed. Experience with Business Licenses, Lien Waivers and Tax Exemptions is a plus, but not required.
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; AA or BS Degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required.
• 2+ years in Accounts Payable with general accounting duties required.
• Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
• Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principle knowledge, ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal.
