As a Field Support Specialist at American National’s League City office, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our multi-line captive agents and independent agents with questions concerning our life or annuity products. You will excel in this role if you enjoy working within a call center environment and providing excellent customer service!

Please note this is an in-office position in League City, Texas, and the office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CST.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Receives and analyzes telephone calls and other inquiries received from independent and captive producers, with brokerage firms, financial institutions and other interested parties that require assistance and/or have questions about products distributed through Life and Annuity Distribution, on a “pre-sales basis."
  • Performs special projects assigned to the department that will best utilize the knowledge and expertise of the position.
  • Disseminates information to the appropriate department within Life and Annuity Distribution Group or within the company and performs related follow-up calls to maintain a high quality of service.
  • Provides feedback to management on competitive product information obtained from current and potential producers.
  • Provides prompt, accurate and courteous responses to these inquiries or requests thus instilling a favorable company image.
  • Provides software assistance as needed for producer to be able to write business with American National.
  • Provides assistance via other communication means, chat, email, and any other means in a prompt accurate and courteous manner.
  • Runs specialized illustrations for producers with illustration software.
  • Assists producers with general illustration questions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service experience

Preferences

  • General knowledge of life or annuity products is preferred.
  • Life or annuity designation is preferred.
