Payment Processor

Job Posting

American National is seeking a full-time, Payment Processor. You will be cross trained on three primary areas to include payment processing, check/ACH fraud review, small treasury projects, information reporting, and assisting internal business area with transaction inquiries. To be successful in the position you should enjoy teamwork, be detail oriented with an ability to meet daily deadlines, have basic Excel skills, and customer service focused.

Onsite Placement Location: League City, Texas

What will you do?

Electronic payment processing through various bank portals; analyzing and verifying supporting documents, and accounting coding for payment requests

Meet daily bank cutoffs for executing transactions and clearing exception items

Analyze and resolve potential check/ACH fraud

Finalize payment

Review trends in cash activity and other known pending transactions to set the daily cash position by calculating the current day cash needs and initiate bank transfers to fund accounts

Qualifications

Relevant payment processing, general accounting, or accounts payable work experience

Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel program

SAP. knowledge, beneficial
