Grader Details

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 26.00 to $ 29.55 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm )
• Work closely with Planerman to insure the manufacturing quality of our product
• Grade on line and maintain grade level performance of 95%
• Keep lug loader and trimmer going and straighten any cross ups from trimmer to graders station and restart the trimmer in case of a stoppage
• Periodic checks on lumber sizes and grade stamping for legibility and correctness as to grade and condition
  
  

Grader Qualifications

• Previous sawmill experience is required
• Must have thorough knowledge of PLIB, WCLIB and WWPA grade rules as applied to company product line
• If not previously certified by an accredited agency, candidate must become a certified lumber grader within 1 year
• Must know all grade marks and trim marks
• Must be able to recognize different species of wood
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
• A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed. You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire.
