Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Direct Hire Lab Technologist position in the polyurethane Technical Service division of a specialty chemical company in Houston. The overall responsibility of this role is to support the deployment of new polyurethane materials that are used in specific insulation applications. Responsibilities include conducting field trials, customer technical service support, lab experiments, and new product and/or application development.

Additional Job Responsibilities
- Technical Service support to customers by facilitating prompt resolution of problems related to the use of the company’s technology
- Conduct laboratory projects for product/application development and/or troubleshooting
- Travel to customer sites to perform field trials
- Document customer visits, lab experiment results, and technical services support
- Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure consistent approach to business strategy and plans
- BS/MS degree in Chemistry or related discipline
- 2 years of polyurethane industry experience is required
- Lab product development and/or troubleshooting experience
- Customer facing communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the US and Canada
