What You Will Be Doing

Sequoia is seeking a Facilities Project Engineer with extensive construction experience to oversee and manage various facility-related projects with both technical and operational scopes. Facilities Project Engineers lead a variety of projects, including facility upgrades, maintenance programs, and large-scale infrastructure improvements. The ideal candidate must be a skilled project manager with strong construction management skills, problem-solving and analytical abilities, be able to work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these benchmarks.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and GMP standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among all project participants.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and GMP standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,991.88 yearly in our lowest geographic market up to $152,382.37 yearly in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
