Position: Plant Operator

Our Client, a leading company in the energy industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator to join their team in Houston, TX. As a Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our client's plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain all equipment and systems in the plant, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and other machinery
  • Monitor and control plant processes and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions that may arise
  • Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including production, maintenance, and safety data
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operation of the plant
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and regulations to ensure compliance with all relevant standards


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a plant or industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of plant processes and equipment, including pumps, compressors, and turbines
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
