Job Summary
Engineering Quality Leader. Under the direction of the Plant Engineering Manager or designee, provides technical leadership towards the identification of the causes for non-conformances and engineering failures, and for the implementation of the remedial, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) thus assuring engineering performance and compliance against Ethicon's QSR, GMP, and ISO requirements for the entire engineering unit.

Job Summary
Engineering Quality Leader. Under the direction of the Plant Engineering Manager or designee, provides technical leadership towards the identification of the causes for non-conformances and engineering failures, and for the implementation of the remedial, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) thus assuring engineering performance and compliance against Ethicon's QSR, GMP, and ISO requirements for the entire engineering unit.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Lead core initiatives for Engineering schematics, detailed layouts, and comprehensive supply chain outputs
- Develop key performance metrics, goals, and objectives
- Collaborate with management to drive decisions on Quality methods
- Develop comprehensive project plans, objectives, and goals for Quality Engineering Supply Chain initiatives.
- Ensure that the final output of the work is in line with the operational needs and requirements of the customer.
- Mentor team members on Quality Engineering non-conformance and corrective actions
- Document, investigate, and conduct root cause analysis
- Successfully implement corrective actions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Quality System Regulations (QSR) / ISO
- Proven experience as an Engineering Quality Lead or similar role
- Outstanding knowledge of Quality Engineering methods and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to work cohesively with teams from different departments
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Meticulous and dedicated to achieving impeccable outcomes
- Location: San Angelo, TX (fully on site)
- The anticipated base travel for this position is 10%
