As a Business Analyst Fall Intern, reporting to the VP, Global Marketing and Communications the ideal intern will analyze data, build models, and interpret trends related to Rekor’s products to help improve their positioning within the industry and for potential investors. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to validate insights and recommend actionable strategies that positively impact Rekor’s business.

As a Business Analyst Fall Intern, reporting to the VP, Global Marketing and Communications the ideal intern will analyze data, build models, and interpret trends related to Rekor’s products to help improve their positioning within the industry and for potential investors. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to validate insights and recommend actionable strategies that positively impact Rekor’s business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product management, engineering, marketing) to gain a deep understanding of our software and hardware products.
- Develop, revise, and publish models showcasing the environmental impact, sustainability, and cost differentiation of Rekor products, often compared to legacy systems or competitors.
- Partner with external organizations, including academic institutions, to validate models, co-publish findings, and secure third-party support.
- Provide recommendations on leveraging insights to drive Rekor’s growth, whether by attracting customers or investors.
- Published, third-party-validated reports on Rekor’s environmental impact and cost efficiency.
- Creation of reusable models measuring sustainability and cost benefits across product lines.
- Strategies that enhance Rekor’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) positioning and product marketing.
You are an energetic and analytical individual with expertise in data, business analytics, and model development. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a forward-thinking organization. You bring the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to drive decision-making.
- Experience building models using Excel or other business intelligence tools.
- Proven success in fast-moving, high-performance environments, building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills..
- Location: MD/ DC/ VA metro area preferred, Flexible Hybrid Remote working
