- Law Enforcement & Custodial Officers System (LECOS) Retirement
- TDCJ Training Academy Required
- Telephonic Interviews Will Not Be Accepted
- Work Site Visits Will Be Conducted

- Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or
- Three years full-time, wage-earning customer service, clerical,
criminal justice experience. Fifteen semester hours from a college
or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council
for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States
Department of Education (USDE) may be substituted for each six months
of experience for a maximum substitution of two years.
- Computer operations experience preferred.
- Criminal justice experience preferred.
- Case processing, report writing, or interviewing experience preferred.
