This role requires a relentless, results-driven approach, with the ability to balance aggressive new account development with maintaining a customer-centric focus.

The ideal candidate will be based in or near Pennsylvania, South Carolina, or Texas, though you’ll travel nationwide for customer meetings and key industry events. Candidates from neighboring states will also be considered if they have the experience, drive, and capacity for extensive travel, along with a well-established network in the industry.

  • Aggressive Sales Growth: Bring a hunter’s mentality to drive revenue by seeking out and capturing new business opportunities in the power distribution industry.
  • Expand Sales Channels: Push boundaries, creatively breaking into untapped markets and developing fresh customer relationships outside of the usual avenues.
  • Strategic Commercial Execution: Understand the landscape, analyze customer needs, and develop targeted sales strategies that align with the company’s ambitious growth goals.
  • Deal-Making Focus: Negotiate with precision, aiming for sales that not only close but deliver strong margins and lasting partnerships.
  • Technical Persuasion: Effectively communicate complex technical solutions, ensuring clients see the company as a trusted and indispensable partner.
  • Project Leadership: Lead the design and delivery of tailored product solutions for customers, managing everything from initial quotes to pricing strategies.
  • Sales Discipline: Maintain meticulous records through CRM systems and manage follow-ups to stay ahead of client demands.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering or Marketing background is a plus).
  • 8-10 years of proven sales experience, with at least 3 years in a similar field.
  • Deep knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and key markets (commercial, industrial, utility, data centers, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, particularly in high-growth environments.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, finance, and operations teams.
  • Expertise in sales analytics, CRM systems, and business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently across the U.S. (10%+), with some overnight travel required.
