Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment, including setup, operation, and cleaning.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and comfort before, during, and after treatment.
- Administer local anesthetics and insert needles for dialysis access.
- Troubleshoot machines and respond to alarms and malfunctions promptly.
- Educate patients on procedures and post-treatment care.
- Maintain detailed patient records.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Dialysis Technician preferred; on-the-job training available for the right candidate.
- Certification: Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility for variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Competitive hourly wage ranging from \(23 to \)33 per hour, based on experience.
