Director of Montessori Education & Community Engagement

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or a related field, with Montessori certification being preferable but not mandatory. A broad, working knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and approach will be highly regarded. Significant accomplishments as a multi-tasking school administrator are essential for consideration.

• Financial acumen and understanding of operational decisions' effect on the school's bottom line.

• Decision making style that is inclusive and confident.
• Effective partnership with the school's owners to lead the school forward.
• Confident, effective and comfortable communicator.
• Recognizes the importance of listening to parents and embracing the notion of partnering with them in their child's education.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to strengthen or build programs in a school setting through effective leadership.
• Ability to drive a 14-passenger childcare bus is a plus.
  
  

Hours

• Weekdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
