Report To: SVP Financial Treasurer

Summary

With the goal of enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams and building communities this position provides support to the Treasurer and Finance/Treasury Department in analysis, planning, and modeling. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial reports and perform ALM duties as requested.

• Work with business lines to identify process improvements and required data to solve problems.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
• Experience Modeling Complex Data sets using statistical software.
• Provide analytical support to the Finance and Treasury teams as needed
• Ability to learn bank software and provide back-up as needed.
• Work with large datasets to extract, transform, and load data into our systems.
• Participate in troubleshooting and debugging data-related issues.
• Maintains knowledge and adheres to all BSA regulations and compliance standards on internal and external policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no formal, direct supervisory responsibilities although will work with leaders and peers in the organization to drive results.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, physics, math or related field; plus 6 months to 1 year of relatable experience.

SKILLS and ABILITIES:

SQL Programming

Object Oriented Programming experience

Econometric Modeling

Joint Odds or Migration analysis

Vintage analysis

Hypothesis Testing / Marketing Research

Preferred

Knowledge of Financial Modeling Techniques

Experience with Bloomberg, Yield Book or other Fixed Income software

Experience with any of the following programming languages: R, Matlab, VBA

Familiarity with Database Design

Prepayment or Deposit Study experience
