Job Description

July Business Services (JULY) is seeking an individual for Client Service Manager. In this role, you will enjoy the unique challenge of putting your retirement plan knowledge and client service skills to work alongside a team of other retirement plan professionals. As you gain experience and demonstrate excellence, you will have the opportunity for additional career opportunities at JULY based on your personal strengths and interests.

The Gig

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for retirement small business clients and advisors
  • Strengthen relationships with clients and advisors through delivery of our value propositions
  • Respond to plan sponsors and advisors’ questions related to all aspects of their retirement plan including plan design in a timely manner
  • Monitor annual plan projects, calendars, and milestones
  • Communicate annual plan compliance results and annual tax filings
  • Maintain knowledge regarding industry trends and legislative/regulatory requirements and changes
  • Proactively request information and alert clients to plan operational and compliance matters
  • Prioritize, research and resolve client questions related to technology, plan operation, compliance and other matters
  • Coordinate with other team members as required for support on recordkeeping and plan administration
  • Communicate 401(k) recordkeeping processes and technology
  • Maintain documentation on client projects and responses within JULYs CRM software tool
  • Utilize a phone queue system to efficiently handle inbound and outbound call volume
  • Ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned

Our Needs

  • 3+ Years Retirement Plan Experience
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Teams
  • Professional and concise verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Builder of collaborative rapport with stellar interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Exceptionally organized individual who juggles multiple projects with minimal oversight
  • Self-starting, resourceful, solution seeker who works well independently
  • Can do, client focused attitude who thrives on accountability, credibility, and trustworthiness
  • Team player with willingness to do no matter how small or large the task
  • Positive attitude
