You will provide evaluations and treatment to assigned clients, and help clients reach maximum performance level and to use skills learned to the fullest to function in the community within the limits of their capabilities.

Your role as a Speech-Language Pathologist:

Our interdisciplinary approach means that you will collaborate with other Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts. As a member of our team, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose communication and feeding disorders
  • Make appropriate cross-referrals to other disciplines as needed
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each client based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to help clients improve their speech, language, social, and feeding skills.
  • Educate families, staff, and the community on the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to support a child's communication skills.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, such as doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists, to ensure our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Keep detailed records of progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Physical demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
