About The Job
Shape the future of ARaymond as part of our Human Resources department.

Responsible for supporting the Human Resources Manager with broad range of human resources tasks including payroll and benefits administration. This role acts with the highest integrity, promotes the ARaymond Values by example, and balances caring for employees’ well-being with championing the decisions that best support the business. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Roles and responsibilities
- Responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing using Paylocity time systems.
- Lead new employee orientations and onboarding.
- Responsible for maintaining attendance records and advising supervisors and managers of issues.
- Responsible for Benefit Administration.
- Responsible for reconciling benefit invoices.
- Coordinates leaves of absence and FMLA; assists with Workers Compensation claims.
- Participates in employee hires and separations.
- Responsible for the filling, tracking, and time keeping of temporary employees at the direction of the HRM.
- Responsible for filing, auditing, maintaining, and retaining records in accordance with federal, state, and regulatory laws and requirements.
Other tasks and duties assigned by the Human Resources Manager to assist with department or corporate objectives.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related area.
- 2 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment (5+ years).
- Payroll Processing experience. Experience with Paylocity a plus.
- HR certification a plus (PHR/SHRM-CP).
Skills
- Ability to work closely with others in a collaborative team environment.
- Professional demeanor and ethical conduct, including handling confidential information appropriately.
- Proficient working in web-based HRIS, Payroll and other HR-related software, including report writing.
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
- Self-directed, ability to work with minimum or no supervision.
- Strong oral and written interpersonal communication skills including giving presentations to groups of employees.
