JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Sr. Accountant
- Accurately prepare and review timely financial statements.
- Streamline and oversee the month end close process, significantly reducing the time to close.
- Provide financial information to leadership and the board to facilitate data driven decision making.
- Lead by example, exhibiting the company's core values.
- Work in tandem with broader F&A team to share success, enhance the function, deliver high quality results, and exceptional internal client service.
- Establish merger and acquisition (M&A) accounting integration best practices.
- Review, modify, and oversee the accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions.
- Maintain monthly fixed assets schedules and all capital leases.
- Implement batch and billing audits and reconciliation processes to increase revenue.
- Lead audits and other compliance projects.
- Participate in the interviewing, selecting, and training of new F&A teammates.
- Perform managerial tasks regularly and complete ad hoc projects when necessary.
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a relevant field of study.
- Certifications: Active CPA
- Experience: 5+ years of corporate accounting experience including financial reporting required. Public Accounting experience required!
- Skills/Knowledge: Strong understanding and proven application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required! Detail oriented. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Power Point). Professional and concise communication skills. Federal and tax knowledge. Service focused attitude.
- Accounting leadership experience managing a team of varying skillsets
- Experience with M&A Transactions and accounting integrations a plus.
- Previous work with PE investors a plus.
- Various systems application knowledge including Sage, Centage Budgeting Software, etc. a plus.
- Location: Remote within the United States
- Compensation Range: $100,000 - $120,000
