With our rapid projected expansion, the Live! Casino & Hotel Brand is searching for the right talent to grow with the organization and help drive our future success.

Efficiently and effectively oversee the property’s AV and Entertainment technical operations. Manages technical details and execution for entertainment productions, events, conventions and shows. Oversee the maintenance, installation, renovation, and operation of all AV systems that support the property inclusive of the casino, food and beverage outlets, hotel, event spaces, and public spaces. Hire, train, schedule, and lead a team of up to 6 technicians. Maintain payroll and operational budgets.

Where You'll Make an Impact

  • Executes department budget, records expenditures, charts budget variances.
  • Advance and coordinate all entertainment, sales, and internal productions.
  • Budget for materials and maintain staff to operate and troubleshoot state-of-the-art audio, lighting, and display systems.
  • Maintain current software versions, required software and firmware for hardware as need in conjunction with end users request.
  • Create and maintain equipment inventory
  • Verify you and your staff are keeping all equipment fully operational; replace/repair/clean when necessary, create keep and maintain maintenance/ repair logs.
  • Assist in LED video board maintenance arrangements
  • Support hotel in-room AV issues
  • Maintain the AVSupport ticketing system
  • Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
  • This is a non-uniformed position, which requires the team member follow non-uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
  • Maintain knowledge of developing technologies by reading professional literature and attendance at relevant training sessions, conferences and workshops.
  • Train end users on systems and continuously evaluate the end users training needs.
  • Work flexible hours including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays including but not limited to participating in the on-call rotation program.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Skills to Help You Succeed

  • Experience with corporate event production preferred.
  • Experience with concert production preferred.
  • Experience with AV technical support preferred.
  • Ability to assume responsibility for independent/self-directed action.
  • Strong guest service skills.
  • Must have strong time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignments.
  • Ability to interpret and explain company policies and procedures to others.
  • Ability to follow all policies, procedures, and regulations including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies.
  • Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and approval of others.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays Must be able to participate in the on-call rotation program.
  • Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires a flexible and irregular work schedule.


Must-Haves

  • CTS Preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in some field of AV.
  • Advanced knowledge of Audio Visual and AV control systems.
  • Excellent technical, complex problem solving, interpersonal, oral & written communication skills.
  • Technical and manufacture certifications desirable (such as QSYS/Dante)
  • You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
  • Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extensive periods of time and move up and down steps daily
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
