Job Summary:

The Account Manager will be primarily responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing project delivery, dedicating approximately 80% of their time to these activities. The remaining 20% of their time will be spent on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills to ensure client satisfaction and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship and Project Management (80%):

  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships. Understand client needs, expectations, and business objectives to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee the execution of client projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Coordinate with internal teams, including creative, and operations, to align efforts and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Client Communication: Regularly and proactively communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and project reviews to ensure client satisfaction and project alignment.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery or client satisfaction. Implement solutions and improvements to enhance the client experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and client satisfaction. Use insights to recommend improvements and inform future projects.

New Business Activities (20%):

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential new business opportunities within existing client accounts and new prospects. Leverage networking, industry events, and digital outreach to build a pipeline of potential clients.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches for new business opportunities. Customize solutions to meet the specific needs of potential clients.
  • Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships by introducing additional services and solutions that align with their business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, client services, or project management within the content creation and design industry.
  • Strong understanding of content creation, design processes, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed +/- 10%
