The Talent Development Facilitator plays a crucial role in fostering learning and employee development to drive organizational performance, productivity, and results. This position designs, develops, and facilitates internal and external learning solutions that support Empath Health. The facilitator is also responsible for ensuring seamless integration of talent development initiatives, with a focus on enhancing culture and engagement across the organization. Additionally, this role supports the new colleague orientation process to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new employees.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and facilitate a variety of internal and external learning solutions that are aligned with organizational goals, enhancing employee performance and productivity.
  • Create, maintain, and regularly update comprehensive training materials for colleagues, ensuring content is current, relevant, and engaging.
  • Present customized training sessions that address specific areas of expertise and meet the unique needs of the organization, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development. Actively participate in the assessment, development, implementation, training, and evaluation of standards of practice to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Support and enhance the new colleague orientation process to ensure smooth onboarding and integration, helping new employees quickly become productive and engaged members of the team.
  • Manage and integrate talent development initiatives that focus on enhancing organizational culture, fostering employee engagement, and promoting a positive workplace environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments and interdisciplinary teams to support patient/family care and achieve organizational objectives, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with regulatory requirements, including CE Broker curriculum tables, Medicare CoPs, AHCA training regulations, OSHA training requirements, and DOEA (Alzheimer’s) training standards.
  • Maintain and develop expertise in relevant practice areas, taking responsibility for ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Perform all additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Organizational Development & Learning, contributing to the overall success and effectiveness of the Organizational Development & Learning department.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; Master’s degree in clinical area, education or related field preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three (3) years discipline specific experience in hospice and/or palliative care, oncology, human service or related field preferred.
  • Certifications: Professional certification in relevant areas preferred.
  • Ability to translate organizational goals into project management and effective outcome based programming.
  • Prefer at least two (2) years experience in educational professional program development, including proficiency in needs assessment, curriculum design, planning, implementation and outcome evaluation, virtual training.
  • Willingness and ability to work with various departments and interdisciplinary teams to meet patient/family care and organizational goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and public speaking experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must be able to provide proof of automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in their employee file.
