We're in search of a dynamic individual to join our staffing and recruitment department, bringing experience in all facets of agency staffing and recruitment, including operations responsibilities. We're looking for a true people person, someone driven by a passion for excellence. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in expanding our lines of business through recruitment and operations.

This is not a remote position. You must be local to the Charleston SC area and will be required to work in office.

As a Healthcare Recruiter and Operations Specialist here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

  • Manages Staffing Scheduling for all clients and medical professionals
  • Recruiting staffing business and staffing professionals
  • Communicates with customers to determine staffing needs and arranges/coordinates the staffing requests.
  • Coordinates with the professional and paraprofessional field staff.
  • Communicates appropriately among the Interim customers, other Interim employees, affiliated vendors and corporate departments.
  • Markets available field staff through client marketing calls, i.e. nurse profile forms.
  • Take appropriate and timely measures to meet the needs of the customer and employees.
  • Maintains mature problem-solving approach under stressful circumstances.
  • Follows pay and bill structures set by the staffing office. Gets appropriate approval for overtime, rewards or motivators for field staff, from supervisor.
  • Performs staffing services payroll activities, including, but not limited to transferring/inputting client orders to the system, organizing and inputting time slips, verifying visits for each employee, calculating pay, making appropriate deductions, auditing input and processing weekly payroll.
  • Complies with all federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding the payroll function using appropriate accounting standards.
  • Provides management with needed payroll reports.
  • Generates billing information from the system and sends to appropriate party
  • Provides reports and information to management on billing activities, as needed.
  • Performs collection functions, including, but not limited to running the aging report on uncollected monies. May develop an action plan on how to proceed with collections as a whole and/or with specific accounts.
  • Provides input to management on methods and procedures to promote the collection of monies owed and the reduction of average days outstanding.
  • Assists in developing strategic recruiting plans, utilizing creative and cost-effective methods.
  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Assist in establishing best practice recruitment efforts and adjust recruitment strategy as needed.
  • Lead the candidate relationship process to improve the candidate experience, retention rates and solicit referrals.
  • Create engaging recruitment-marketing, from job descriptions and live events to campaigns that drive candidates to the company.
  • Assist with coordinating recruitment advertising, to include creating and posting job openings and the use of Internet recruiting tools.
  • Conduct employment verification, full credentialing, all prescreening components, and tailoring job descriptions and offer letters.
  • Assist with all aspects of staffing schedule.
  • Assist with implementation of staffing scheduling platform.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate information in staffing scheduling platform.
  • Assist with staffing assignment matching.
  • Creating and updating client information sheets for internal files and staffing employees
  • Verify licensures and credentials for nurses and other healthcare providers.
  • Assists with managing all electronic on-boarding, processes, and timelines.
  • Conducts market and competitive analyses to identify existing opportunities for growth within staffing service line/ calls on and develops relationships with prospective clients.
  • Assist with developing and implementing business strategy with staffing administrator, developing plans, analyzing data, and aligning goals to achieve objectives through recruitment, sales, account management, and business development.
  • Developing community partnerships for staffing contracts
  • Establishes and maintains contacts and relationships with referral sources for staffing, including but not limited to clinics, hospitals, skilled and other nursing facilities, community resources and others appropriate targeted markets and service lines.
  • Prepares and conducts presentations regarding Interim HealthCare to organizations where prospective clients might be reached or influenced.
  • Implements account development strategies/contracts to sell to and secure growth in the staffing business line.
  • Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.


A few must-haves for our Healthcare Recruiter and Operations Specialist Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related subject or equivalent years of training and work experience.
  • Five (5) years successful recruitment, marketing, and operations preferably healthcare services.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels within and outside the company.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with medical staffing and recruitment, referral sources and market.
  • Computer and Internet literacy.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational and detail skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals under short deadlines, changing priorities and minimal resources.
  • Proven ability to work independently or with a team and be highly motivated
