Reporting to the HR Manager – US, this position provides key Human Resources support to the Bloomington, Indiana facility. This position will include support for Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Benefits, and HRIS. This role provides a great foundation for continued career growth.
This is a non-exempt, on-site position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily tasks that support the plant, including updating HRIS systems, password resets, employment verification, responding to employee questions, preparation of communications, report generation, etc.
- Assist with recruiting, including preparing job postings, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters and onboarding new employees.
- Works with HR team to launch new policies and procedures, plan events and annual trainings.
- Presence on the production floor to communicate, attend meetings, and measure engagement level.
- Address employee concerns promptly, escalating to HR Manager as necessary.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Manage employee files, updating as necessary.
- Track and manager employee attendance, PTO, FMLA and other leaves.
- Assist with timekeeping and payroll process.
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record-keeping
- Enthusiasm for working within a team environment
- Tact and professionalism when handling confidential information and addressing employee concerns
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft office suite and email
- Associates degree or higher in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years in HR-related position
- Administrative experience in mid-sized company (200-500 employees)
