Description

We are looking for an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our environmental team in a 100% remote capacity. The primary focus will be on providing environmental services and strategies for midstream pipeline projects involving natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil. It is essential that you have FERC Section 7 and Third-party EIS document experience on your resume for submission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects from routing/siting to construction compliance.
  • Direct resource teams on environmental studies and permit applications, including FERC Section 7 and Third-party EIS documents.
  • Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineers, attorneys, GIS analysts, etc.).
  • Communicate with the public and stakeholders at hearings and meetings.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting.
  • Engage in business development and attend industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years in environmental licensing and permitting of pipelines.
  • Expertise in FERC regulations and federal environmental regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications (optional).

Tools and Processes

  • Experience with MS Project, Teams for video meetings, and MS Dynamics for reporting and tracking.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, monthly department meetings, and quarterly division meetings.
