Network Engineer

Darigold is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to join our IT Operations team and provide support to, and management of, the Darigold Network for Darigold’s offices, data centers, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and labs. The candidate should be able to provide high quality output in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

• Document, monitor, test, troubleshoot and implement new and existing wired and wireless network systems architecture
• Develop solutions to increase network service stability through automation, mature processes, and problem management techniques
• Implement secure network configurations and access controls standards
• Analyze and remediate critical network vulnerabilities
• Assist in the management of the network device lifecycle including keeping apprised of patches, latest technologies, and End of Support / End of Life dates
• Collaborate with vendors, MSPs, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to provide and gather input on various initiatives or to resolve open issues
• Follow up with stakeholders, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution via ServiceNow ITSM
• Provide 24 x 7 On-Call support as part of a rotating schedule
• Local and regional travel estimate of 25%
  
  

What You Bring

• CCNA or equivalent/higher certification
• AA Degree in Network Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• High-Level problem solving, organization, time management, and communication skills
• Understanding and adherence to ITIL and Change Management concepts
  
  

Nice to Have’s

• Experience with manufacturing IT infrastructure
• Experience with replacement of legacy network infrastructure
• Hyper-V / VMware experience
• Storage / Data Center experience
