Position Summary: The Field Technician is responsible for collecting and documenting field data, with a primary focus on taking photos of materials and organizing associated documentation. The ideal candidate will have a background in science, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to technical standards. This position is a 3.5 month contract to hire. Responsibilities:
- Data Collection: Conduct field visits to collect data, primarily focusing on photographing materials and documenting findings accurately
- Documentation: Organize and manage documentation related to field data, ensuring all information is recorded systematically and is easily accessible
- Equipment Management: Operate and maintain field equipment, including cameras and data collection tools, ensuring they are in proper working order
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports of field activities, including photographic evidence and supporting documentation
- Compliance: Adhere to company protocols and industry standards for data collection and documentation
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including project managers and scientists, to ensure data accuracy and project success
- Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while performing field duties to ensure personal and team safety
