We are seeking a Director, Corporate Project Management Office to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary
This Director, Corporate Project Management Office, is responsible for leading the organization’s corporate project management function. This position is critical to driving organizational success by ensuring the company-level, cross-functional projects are planned and executed efficiently as well as delivering value to the organization and stakeholders. The Director will work cross functionally with all department leaders and internal stakeholders to define, prioritize, develop, and deliver projects and programs. This role involves strategic planning, project portfolio management, and process improvement, as well as strong leadership, vision, and exceptional project management expertise.

We are seeking a Director, Corporate Project Management Office to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary
This Director, Corporate Project Management Office, is responsible for leading the organization’s corporate project management function. This position is critical to driving organizational success by ensuring the company-level, cross-functional projects are planned and executed efficiently as well as delivering value to the organization and stakeholders. The Director will work cross functionally with all department leaders and internal stakeholders to define, prioritize, develop, and deliver projects and programs. This role involves strategic planning, project portfolio management, and process improvement, as well as strong leadership, vision, and exceptional project management expertise.
Duties and Responsibilites
- Establish and maintain centralized project management framework, including project governance, tools, templates, and reporting mechanisms.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of project management methodologies, standards, and processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, to ensure projects are delivered on time, withing scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor project performance, identify risks and issues, and drive proactive decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive staff, to prioritize projects, allocate resources effectively, and manage competing priorities.
- Develop and manage integrated program plans across multiple functions.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on project-related matters, providing insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance to support decision-making.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovations in project management to drive innovation and excellence within the PMO.
- Drive a culture of ownership in all cross-functional interactions - with passion to deliver business results.
- Prepare and present regular metrics, reports and project progress.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
- 10+ years of related business experience with a bachelor’s degree or 7+ years related Business experience, a master’s degree in project management or related field preferred; PMP or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and programs from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive change, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
