Raiser's Edge Administrator

Description

We are in search of a Raiser's Edge Administrator, who will be part of our team based in Hamden, Connecticut, United States. It's an exciting opening for professionals in the Database industry, offering a long-term contract employment opportunity. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in managing our database systems, maintaining donor records, and ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the database systems within the Development Office, guaranteeing the precision, integrity, and security of data
• Regularly revise and keep up-to-date donor records, including elements such as contact information, giving history, and other crucial details
• Utilize best practices for data entry, storage, and retrieval to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the database
• Perform routine audits to spot and rectify any discrepancies in the database
• Generate reports, queries, and data extractions as required for development staff and leadership
• Accurately input all incoming gifts, pledges, and other contributions into the database in a timely manner
• Prepare and dispatch acknowledgment letters, receipts, and other donor communications to ensure prompt recognition of gifts
• Collaborate closely with the finance office to reconcile gift records and ensure correct allocation of funds
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding pledges, coordinating with the development team to ensure timely collection
  
  

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud is required
• Strong knowledge of database management is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Proven problem-solving abilities
• Experience in a non-profit environment would be an asset
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
