Accounting Assistant

Lunar Companies is looking for a professional, hospitable and courteous person to join our team as an Accounting Assistant in our corporate office. Post financial data to accounts.Enter and verify the accuracy of financial transactions.Handle communication between the organization and clients.Maintain and improve the organization's bookkeeping process.Collaborate with Financial Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables and purchase orders.Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them.Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors and vendors.Verify payments and deposits made through the company account.Create reports for management and/or team members.Perform bank reconciliations and other reconciling tasks as needed.CompetenciesAccuracy and attention to detailKnowledge of spreadsheets and Sage Intaact softwareMath skills to handle financial dataWorking well within a team atmosphereIntegrity and confidentialityTime management skillsPAY RATE BASED ON EXPERIENCE About us:LUNAR COMPANIES is a privately held corporation that has been in the construction industry since 1998.
