VP, Strategy & Ops, Global Business & Innovation

Alcon is currently looking for a VP, Strategy & Operations for Global Business, and Innovation. This role would lead all long-term business strategy and planning focused on facilitating and developing the organizations medium- and long-term goals including:

• Identifying growth opportunities, business model innovation, and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives
• Evaluating and financial modeling of potential merger, acquisition, divestment, partnership, and joint venture opportunities
• Monitoring medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership.
• Analyzing and managing medium and long-term capital expenditure and project approval decisions
• In some organizations may review corporate governance, balanced score card performance, and participate in the annual business planning cycle.
  
  

This role would report into the President, Global Franchises and be based out of our Fort Worth HQ. Full relocation will be provided.

Experience Required

• 15+ years within corporate strategy and operations, commercial leadership, or business development in a large multinational environment.
• Management Consultancy Experience preferred.
• Expertise in Medical Device industry a big plus. Wider life sciences expertise at minimum.
• Top Tier Masters / PhD educated.
