Analyzing financial data:

Financial analysts analyze financial data to understand a company's financial status and trends. This includes evaluating historical and current data, capital expenditures, and depreciation.

Making recommendations:

Financial analysts recommend investments, portfolios, and budgets. They also provide guidance on buying and selling stocks and generating funds.

Preparing reports:

Financial analysts prepare written reports that help management teams make strategic decisions.

Studying trends:

Financial analysts study economic and business trends, and industry-specific research to predict trends.

Monitoring financial data:

Financial analysts track current financial data to alert stakeholders if there are any deviations.

Developing forecasting tools

Financial analysts develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis.

Maintaining databases:

Financial analysts maintain databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

You MUST strong mathematical and analytical skills, and a degree in accounting, economics, statistics, or business administration. You should also have a strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
