Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

The Opportunity

The Wealth Advisor works as a fiduciary, working directly with our clients and prospective clients to bring them onboard at Ally. When working with prospective clients the Wealth Advisor will act as the first step in helping potential clients achieve their goals by explaining Ally’s process and managing expectations of both the client and Sr. Wealth Advisor, which will lead to a smooth client transition. The Wealth Advisor is part of small team partnering with the Sr. Wealth Advisors.

Ally work location is Lewisville TX OR Remote in CA, CO - Mountain or Pacific time zones

The Work Itself

  • Conduct a phone-based discovery process to validate the prospective client is qualified for the wealth management services. During this discussion basic information including client expectations and concerns may be uncovered and shared with the Sr. Wealth Advisor.
  • Document client interactions.
  • Outbound attempts to cold leads.
  • Work with Sr. Wealth Advisor to prepare and analyze prospect proposal.
  • Conduct review meetings with existing Ally Personal Advice clients to discover additional needs.
  • Provide advice and planning to prospective clients with less complex financial needs.
  • Work closely with service and operations teams to resolve client issues.
  • Coordinate with partners to identify relevant point of view insights that would resonate with the clients.
  • Collaborate with peers, demonstrate teamwork, and best practice sharing.
  • This role has the potential to have a book of assigned clients.
  • We will provide you a pathway to build your skills and knowledge by supporting you to pursue advanced certifications.

Skills

The Skills You Bring

  • 1-year experience in the financial services industry, working directly with clients highly preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 or (63/65) licenses preferred or must be obtained within the first 120 days of employment.
  • Understand the importance of fiduciary responsibility.
  • Demonstrate extraordinary emotional intelligence (EQ) skills with the ability to build trust and relationships with clients.
  • Superior customer service and sales skills, with an attention to detail.
  • Team oriented and collaborative.
  • Willing to learn and adapt based upon the needs of the industry and organization.

Base Pay Range: $55000 - $95000 USD

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
