Intern - Applications Engineer

This opening is part of Infineon’s Internship Program. The Internship Program gives you the opportunity to gain enriching and diverse experiences and work side by side with experienced leaders to power your career. In your new role you will:

• Develop Automation software for System Validation tests using Python
• Develop scripts for lab instrument control and report generation
• Testing and Validation of Power stage and Point-of-Load Devices onboard
• Responsible for troubleshooting system / test-related issues on hardware and software
• Support and train other team members with Python automation
• Support Python Automation for reliability test equipment in the lab
• Be able to use lab equipment like power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators etc and all the functions and integrate with instrument control
  
  

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• BSEE or MSEE in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Knowledge in power conversion topologies, and power devices
• Knowledge in platforms like Python or Lab view that can be used for instrument control
• Good knowledge of programming in languages like C or C++
• Hands-on experience in DC/DC switching power supplies is a plus
• Lab skills in using digital oscilloscopes, function generators and network analyzers for the test and debug
• Good written and verbal communications skills, and work effectively in a team environment
