We are currently seeking a Territory Manager to support our Warwick, RI Office. We're looking for an experienced HVAC sales go-getter who is interested in getting the highest return on the investment of your time and talent. The Territory Manager is responsible for calling on new and existing assigned customers for purposes of sales growth, promotional activities, new product introduction, problem resolution, customer training, and product performance discussions. This role is responsible for territory saturation and sales growth through excellence in customer service and utilization of company sales tools and systems. This role calls on customers independently, with the sales manager, in person and via phone calls. Additionally, this role reports on market competition and other territory sales influences.

This Territory Manager position will be based out of our Warwick, RI branch located at 56 Dewey Ave, Warwick, RI 02886.

What will you be doing? We’ll keep you busy and teach you how to:

  • Provides excellent customer service through timely customer interaction, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-up.
  • Promptly responds to customer inquiries via phone, email, or fax with courtesy in a professional demeanor
  • Expertly facilitates problem resolution for assigned customers with issues related to customer service, accounts receivable, and product performance.
  • Responsible for growth of new accounts and customer relationship development within the assigned territory.
  • Maintains a complete, organized, and accurate e-mail group listing of dealers, non-dealers, premium dealers, and hydronic dealers and Ductless Pro dealers
  • Presents marketing programs to customers that include promotions, flyers, specials, training, and other programs as directed.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of company product lines with proficiency and detail.
  • Maintains a personal library of sales and technical materials for all product lines.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of the features and benefits of the residential forced air equipment sold by the company.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of the features and benefits of the residential boilers sold by the company.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of the commercial equipment sold by the company.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of the features and benefits of the ductless equipment sold by the company

What We Need From You

Preferred Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or its GED equivalent and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • 5 or more years’ experience with HVAC, sales, and related functions.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or its GED equivalent and some college coursework in Business or related field.
  • 3 or more years’ experience with HVAC, sales, and related functions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
