The Fulfillment Lead is an integral part of our team’s success. In this role you will be responsible for leading the team that properly packages orders for safe and accurate conveyance to customers, verify customer orders, and support the Distribution Center team in meeting operational targets. The hours for this Full-time time position are Friday through Monday 3:00PM-1:30AM and includes a 15% shift differential.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Serves as an example to other employees by consistently demonstrating exemplary work habits, which contribute to teamwork, productivity, and efficiency; maintains own current functional knowledge and skills to assist staff with daily workload as needed.
  • Oversees the work and safety activities of warehouse floor employees to meet Company needs; maintains and communicates department policies and procedures; ensures training on Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Radio Frequency (RF) Equipment; coaches, motivates, schedules work hours and daily employee assignments; provides quarterly input to employee evaluations, and future staffing and training needs.
  • Monitors daily warehouse floor operations to ensure effective execution of Company goals; maintains, monitors and reports on order and completion volumes including, schedules and counts of outgoing shipments for Retail, Direct Sales, Oversize Orders, Third Party Warehouse, and United Postal Service (UPS); highlights departmental trends; performs quality checks; escalates issues as appropriate.
  • Ensures adequate maintenance of equipment and supplies; requests service and replenishment as appropriate.
  • Receives warehouse floor employee escalations, including researching and reporting shipping problems and errors.
  • Assists in the preparation of annual department business plan; recommends changes to systems, policies and practices


Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years work experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to successfully lead others, including scheduling, training, and coaching
  • Able to frequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 30 pounds with a maximum of 65 pounds throughout a full shift of work.
  • Able to work standing or walking on concrete floors for 8-12 hour shifts.
  • Work efficiently and safely by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and producing quality work.
