Duties And Responsibilities
- Identify and meet patients' needs and goals
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services
- Supervises COTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy approved by an accredited organization
- State Licensed to practice as a Occupational Therapist
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a SNF is a plus
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification
