We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Director, Campus Facility Management with the Facility Operations Department. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of building tenants, coordinating, and managing maintenance and repair activities, and collaborating closely with vendors to ensure smooth daily building operations. This role will also be a point of contact for the IT, Audio/Video (AV), and Engineering departments to address any needs and assist in managing projects.

What Will You Do

  • Project Management: Leading planning and execution of internal growth projects
  • Coordinating and supervising regular building maintenance, repairs, custodial services and waste management.
  • Maintaining a safe environment for all occupants and visitors for practice facilities and headquarters buildings
  • Managing Full Time Director Reports
  • Lead, manage and oversee maintenance budgets.
  • Negotiating and liaising with third-party service providers.
  • Conducting regular building inspections and preparing reports.
  • Document Management: Ensuring facilities are following applicable policies, regulations, and building codes.
  • Responding to inquiries and requests by staff and resolving any problems or issues.
  • Oversee the coordination of events hosted in the facility.
  • Run parking lot including access and spot allocation.
  • Compliance: ensuring the campus is compliant with all federal regulations. Preparing and carrying out emergency protocols and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Suns IT and AV departments to address technology needs and enhancements.

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.

  • Strong critical thinking (problem assessment) and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork and cross functional communication skills
  • Time management
  • Experience in a professional sports organization is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Ability to strategically delegate tasks to management level team members.
  • Skilled and capable of working under pressure and confident problem-solver.
  • Quick learner who is adaptable to change.

Experience/ Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate management, or a related field preferred
  • GED or High School Diploma Required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a building, construction manager or in a similar role
  • Served in a role where they were the main facility point of contact and key decision maker
