Minimum Qualifications

be Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an

organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education

Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education

(USDE). Major course work in Public Administration, Behavioral

Science, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Education, or a

related field preferred. Each year of experience as described below

in excess of the required six years may be substituted for thirty semester

hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis.

• Six years full-time, wage-earning program administration, criminal
  
  

justice, public administration, teaching, staff development,or

technical program support experience.

• Experience in the supervision of employees preferred.
• Criminal justice administration experience preferred.
• Teaching or training experience preferred.
• The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will
  
  

be $5,098.67.**
