General Summary Of Position

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating tasks, providing general project support, and collaborating with one or more project teams. The Project Coordinator may be responsible for managing one or more small projects.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Executes standards, processes, and methodologies in a consistent manner for project planning and execution activities including the following fundamentals: initiating, planning, estimating, resourcing, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Assist Project Manager in the execution of project governance activities.
  • Manages execution of project:
    • Acts as primary customer contact for the project. Clearly articulates design, installation, and operational concepts and solutions to customers and technicians,
    • Conducts recurring customer reviews addressing scope, schedules, issues, actions, risks and customer expectations.
    • Prepares for and present at appropriate project steering committee meetings.
    • Works with Procurement to ensure material is delivered on time.
    • Manages installation.
    • Transitions to Day 2 support team after project completion.
  • Manages project control fundamentals: monitoring and anticipating potential problems; identifying project conflicts; taking corrective action; resolving issues; managing scope, schedule, cost, profit and budget; project reporting; and quality review and assurance.
  • Issues and communicates program status to leadership, steering committee, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Manages revenue forecasting and tracking for assigned projects.
Required Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience managing/coordinating telecommunications infrastructure projects
  • Fluent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) , SharePoint, MS Project, PPM tools, ERP, Salesforce.com, workforce management and cloud based technology systems.
  • M-F availability with afterhours possible depending on project
  • Knowledge of project management and technical documentation tools.
  • Knowledge of standardized project management methodologies and processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and expectations while ensuring overall quality of delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills including requirements documentation, troubleshooting, and creative problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships between project teams, stakeholders, management and vendors.

  • Telephony experience
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • PRINCE2 2017 Foundation Certification
  • Agile Certification
  • Strong background in business
  • Strong computer skills
