Specialized provider of vacuum measurement and control instrumentation located in Longmont, CO is currently hiring a full-time Embedded / Electrical Engineer.

Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm / Mon-Fri
Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year
Note: No VISA sponsorship is offered. Candidates must be able to start shortly after receiving an offer.
Duties And Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive understanding of our current technologies and product lines.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to understand customer needs and work environments.
Design and develop new or variant products, with a strong emphasis on hardware design and embedded coding skills.
Act as a Project Engineer on both new and sustaining development projects.
Create technical documentation for new products and engineering procedures.
Develop test plans, reports, and design documentation to support production and vendors.
Work with Customer Service to identify and resolve customer issues.
Partner with Purchasing to select and maintain optimal vendors.
Requirements
MS or BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
2+ years of hands-on experience in product and technology development (not including internship experience).
Expertise in hardware design is critical, alongside strong embedded coding skills. Experience with schematic capture and board layout is essential, with OrCad design tools preferred.
Proficiency in modern coding techniques and development tools. Strong debugging skills and hands-on hardware experience required. C/C++ development experience for embedded systems is essential; RTOS proficiency is a plus.
Ability to create and implement development tools, systems, and methods for a growing product portfolio.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
Passion for technology and innovation, with experience in vacuum technologies and/or the semiconductor manufacturing industry preferred.
Experience in designing and testing to regulatory standards (e.g., Safety, EMC).
Positive, self-motivated with excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
