AutoCAD Drafter

Description

We are in search of an AutoCAD Drafter to join our team in the Telecom Services industry based in Deerfield Beach, Florida. As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will be essential in designing and drafting detailed diagrams for our telecom infrastructure projects. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed electronic and mechanical diagrams for telecom projects.
• Implement drafting concepts such as projected, detail, and section views in design processes.
• Utilize tools like calipers for accurate recreation of physical components in AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with the team to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure the accuracy and precision of drafted diagrams and illustrations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve design and development issues.
• Use Microsoft Office Suites and Atlassian Jira for project management and documentation.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements in all drafting and design activities.
• Continually update skills and knowledge in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software like ArchiCAD and SolidWorks.
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, ArchiCAD, and SolidWorks.
• Experience in creating 2D illustrations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira as a project management tool.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey information to team members and clients.
• Understanding of construction processes and procedures.
• Experience in contract management and negotiation.
• Ability to work within the Telecom Services industry.
• Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Committed to continuous learning and skill development.
• Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
