Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing quality management systems, supervising QA (Quality Assurance) staff, conducting audits, and addressing quality issues with the production team to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

  • Develops, implements, and maintains comprehensive quality systems for multiple operations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.
  • Plans, conducts, and manages internal and external quality audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborates with production team to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of quality documentation, including policies and procedures, quality checks, and test results. Prepares and presents regular reports on quality performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.
  • Addresses and works to resolve customer complaints and quality issues promptly. Implements customer feedback to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensures that work is performed consistently with company policies and procedures.
  • Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.

Work Environment

  • Usually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes, or odors.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education And Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Inventory Control.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and training and development skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and implement solutions utilizing the Microsoft suite of business applications.
  • Experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role within an operations, distribution, or logistics environment in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
  • Experience leading associates remotely at multiple locations.
  • Spanish language skills are highly desired.
  • This position is on-site in Perris, CA.

$79,200.00-$122,600.00 Annual
