Jr. Program Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Junior Program Manager for our client in Vista, California. The JR. Program Manager will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and management of multiple projects simultaneously. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of project management who is eager to grow and take on more responsibilities. The JR. Program Manager will work closely with senior program managers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively, driving key results that align with the organization’s goals.

Pay: $38/hr- $42/hr

Length: 3 -month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on delivering high-quality results, supporting efforts to drive projects to successful completion and meeting key milestones.
• Assist in the management and execution of various projects within the program, helping to ensure that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Help identify potential risks and issues within projects, working with senior managers to develop mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress, providing data and insights to help drive decision-making and improve project outcomes.
• Contribute ideas for improving program management processes, helping to increase efficiency and effectiveness across projects.
• Coordinate tasks across teams, ensuring clear communication, and helping to keep projects on track.
• Maintain open lines of communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on progress and assisting in managing expectations.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently and aligned with financial goals.
• Ensure that projects adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CAPM) are a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in project or program management, coordination, or a related role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
