Product Management Intern-Carmel, IN (Onsite)
(Candidate will be onsite at our Carmel Headquarters for the Summer Internship)
Job Scope
The Product Management Intern is a short-term opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in product management. During the internship, you'll have the chance to learn about the Allegion Home business, product development process, work closely with product managers, and contribute to real-world projects.

Job Scope
The Product Management Intern is a short-term opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in product management. During the internship, you'll have the chance to learn about the Allegion Home business, product development process, work closely with product managers, and contribute to real-world projects.
What You Will Do
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences by analyzing and reporting on product trends, customer reviews, and customer feedback.
- Analyze data and interpret market and technology trends to assist product managers in making data-driven decisions to drive product success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing and operations to help drive product initiatives forward through product development processes
- Collect, analyze, and manipulate data from business systems using Microsoft Excel
- Develop an understanding of consumer needs and requirements and represent them in MRDs and PRDs
- Assist with product roadmap planning by working closely with product managers to prioritize features and release timelines
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, management, technology, or engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for conducting market research and identifying opportunities for product improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Team player able to quickly establish successful cooperation with all colleagues
- Experience with: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
