Accounts Payable Manager

Description

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Accounts Payable Manager with strong Oracle Fusion implementation skills and a passion for leadership and mentorship. This critical role will not only oversee and optimize the AP processes for our client, but also develop and mentor junior members of the team. This is a contract role expected to be about 3+ months in length.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Guide the AP team in the implementation and optimization of the Oracle AP system.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the AP team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Act as a key liaison between IT and Finance departments for Oracle system updates and enhancements.
• Prepare and perform regular checks to validate data accuracy within the Oracle Fusion AP system.
• Review and approve invoices, reconcile any discrepancies, and manage relationships with vendors.
• Create comprehensive AP reports and updates for senior management.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and policies in accordance with legal regulations and company guidelines.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in Accounts Payable in a high-volume environment.
• Prior experience in Oracle Fusion AP system integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Proven success in managing an efficient, organized payables process.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, mentorship, and team development.
• Solid problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills and attention to detail.
