PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is hiring for the position of Operations Manager.

Job Description:

An Operations Manager leads, supports, dispatches, and holds accountable a team of Mobile Sales and Service Technicians when and where they are needed, ensuring customers get the highest level of service delivered by PIRTEK. The Operations Manager also runs a hose counter service and oversees day-to-day operations of the Service & Supply Center including inventory management, safety briefings, vehicle maintenance program management, training, customer service, and customer relationship building.

A PIRTEK Service & Supply Center is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work closely with other team members and customers. You will be helping to establish a brand new center, and eventually work towards overseeing all aspects of the business. This requires excellent leadership, customer service, problem-solving, and technical skills to help the business grow quickly and profitably. We take pride in ensuring customers receive the highest quality of service to get their equipment back up and running.

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch and support Mobile Sales and Service Technicians (MSSTs)
• Line manager (including hiring and firing) for MSSTs and potentially other staff that may be hired
• Manage hose counter and build hoses for walk-in customers
• Oversee materials and inventory management for center and MSST vehicles
• Assist in training new hires and setting expectations for each employee
• Ensure all customers receive the highest quality of service
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in supervisory roles, preferably in hydraulic industry
• High school diploma or GED
• Good computer skills
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Welding experience preferred
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Compensation: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
