Sales Support Lead

K-12 Sales Support Lead

Since 1990, National Food Group has specialized in food service solutions for K-12 and higher education, healthcare and correctional facilities, casinos, entertainment, and many other industries.

This position will serve as the team lead for all K-12 sales support staff.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the lead to all K-12 sales support roles.
• Works to implement sales initiatives and projects with the sales support team with direction from the K-12 Sales Director.
• Responsible to manage sales tracking tools including CRM, bid process and reporting and report back with important information and suggested improvements.
• Works with Creative Services on a variety of projects such as proofing flyers, writing copy, and assisting with tracking and maintaining updated collateral and point of service materials. Also works with the department to ensure Order Guides are prepared for the team on a monthly basis.
• Manage pricing levels for all order guides and regions.
• Is the owner of the sales team projections to purchasing monthly.
• Assist the Team Leader with specialized projects and initiatives such bid reporting, analysis, customizing dashboards, etc.
• Prepares and analyzes periodic reports and gathers information on sales activities such as: customer gain/loss reports, margin report, bid analysis, margin analysis, inventory analysis and hold data.
• Assists with budget management to ensure expenses meet target goals.
• Work with sale support to ensure process improvement.
• Work with sales support/bid coordinators on bid process.
• Work with team on dashboard management and territory alignment.
• Maintain the utmost confidentiality in all work including both written and verbal communications.
• Ability to review information with attention to detail and integrity.
• Organize and schedule travel for the team when necessary.
• Ability to provide occasional after-hours work/support to accommodate high priority projects.
• Ability to travel when required.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a progressive position
• Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
• Ability to be proactive and take initiative with projects and deadlines
• Familiar with NetSuite or similar CRM for basic information gathering, reporting and understanding
• Advanced proficiency with a variety of communication tools including email (Outlook), word processing, spreadsheets (Excel), graphics, database applications that are required to perform the essential duties and functions of the position
