QA Lead

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a QA Lead This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Fountain Valley, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology

Develop QA Processes: Create and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures for digital applications and head unit systems.

Test Planning, Execution, and Documentation: Design, develop, execute, and document test plans and cases for digital applications and head units.

Identify, document, and track defects and work with development teams to resolve them.

API, E2E, and Performance Testing: Conduct API, E2E, and performance testing to ensure the system (back-end and front-end mobile and web) meets the required performance standards.

Good Communication and Collaboration Skills: Work closely with business stakeholders, software developers, and UAT stakeholders to ensure a quality product is delivered to the end user.

To perform validation tasks, utilize tools like Testrails, JMeter, Postman, Selenium, Appium, JIRA, TestRail, Fiddler, UI Automator, and TestNG.

Contribute to project planning, estimation, and validation reports

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in implementing and managing automated testing frameworks and scripts.

Industry knowledge (automotive, telematics, Infotainment system, Connected Car)

Domain knowledge of TSP (Telematics Support Platform) Platform and Applications

Experience with 3rd party libraries for DOM manipulation, understanding JavaScript event model.

Understands how to write efficient selectors

Understands CSS rule specificity

Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.

Analytical skills

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
