POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sr. Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager will oversee the execution of an efficient sourcing and recruiting team to support our mission of changing lives through education. The Sr. TA Manager will partner with campus leadership in ensuring that our clients are staffed with dedicated and highly qualified educators and staff. The Sr. TA Manager must possess a passion for education and commit to improving educational outcomes through effective staffing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Strategic Consulting: Ability to think strategically using strong analytical skills and promote data driven decision making. Demonstrate and develop sustainable recruitment strategies by building talent pipelines and partnerships with external agencies.
  • Optimized Processes: Implement streamlined recruitment processes and procedures tailored to the unique needs of each educational institutions, resulting in increased efficiency and effectiveness in managing tasks.
  • Empower Team Members: Provide guidance and support to help team members achieve their full potential. Mentor and coach staff to develop their skills and empower them to achieve their professional goals.
  • Foster Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment and hiring needs. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure client needs are top priority.
  • Compliance Assurance: Conduct regular assessments to ensure schools' hiring practices comply with relevant laws and industry standards, mitigating legal risks and protecting the organization from potential liabilities. Stay abreast of industry trends and legislative changes in education.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Relentless in pursuit of excellence using data driven and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Lead by Example: Provide oversight to the day to day recruitment process, including sourcing, job posting, interviewing. Present key performance metrics to executive leadership and school governing boards.
  • Enhance Employer Branding: Promote the school’s brand as an employer of choice through outreach programs, career fairs and social media presence.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education, Certifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 years of progressive talent acquisition experience.
  • 2 years of management experience.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Google docs.
  • Strong knowledge in Federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience using Workday recruiting preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel to campuses as needed.
  • This position requires the need to lift objects (up to 25 pounds) on occasion.
  • This position may require sitting for long periods at times, talking on the phone, standing, kneeling, stooping and long periods of concentration. Repetitive motions with hands.
